Multi Org. Tuttle Outing 1-2-05

This is some of our group getting started just west of the parking lot.

Tom Waugh (SlagKing) and his daughter from the Bronco II Forum showed us all what a good driver in a stock 88 Bronco II could do. The stock CV driveshaft complained some but held up.

Darryl Napier (Darryl75) with his friend Darby White, from the KCX board in a 79 Bronco stayed in with us all day. Found out when he was home for a couple of hours the gas tank had leak. Must of hit something on the road on the way back. LOL

Darryl75's friend Kenny Paterson came out for his first trip wheeling in a 91 Suburban. He did really well and hung in all day. I have received info he is ready to go again.

Ken Olson (BigSwede), 86 Bronco II from the RRORC board ran great and Swede gave a driving show that kept everyone amazed. Had a little trouble with a lock out and motor mount.

Tony Vincent (Muddinbronc85), 85 Bronco II from RRORC was leaking oil on the trip down. His auto lock outs were complaining also. He hung in for a while and cut out to head back and had a small fire.

Jesse Weifenbach (Digger) 93 Ranger did great as always. Had a front axle shaft break late that afternoon on Arp Hill.

Thomas Minshall (Thomasm_67), 76 F-250 from the FTE board did so well on the trails he had to go back to the parking lot and break something in his front end trying to pull a Yota buggy out of the Rock Garden.

Jeff and Cathy Gerdes (JeepinJeff), 78 CJ-7 from the Wichita 4X4 Club.

Keith and Sandra Morris, 03 Jeep from the Wichita 4X4 Club.

Ed Kloster, 04 Jeep and his rider Chris Wade from the Wichita 4X4 Club.

Don Pennington, 73 TLC from the Wichita 4X4 Club.

Clint Drouhard (Mad Max, aka 74 Bronco), from RRORC (and others) seems we are remodeling our house and weren't able to put up a tree this winter for Christmas. Guess I didn't know it bothered Clint so much until I saw him attack a tree. ROFLMAO Guess you had to be there. Every time I go up there with him he has to pull a stuck Yota out of the mud. I have two fine sons and am proud of them both. That reminds me time to take my other son for a run down to Little Sahara.

Digger, Regional Rep. for RRORC talking things over with Jacob Griffin (Grif), president of RRORC. Grif broke a front axle shaft on his 94 X that afternoon on the beach. Wasn't able to get pictures of Grif's mean X. Thought Del Jacobsen (Husker) from the FTE board did. But there was a problem and pic's were lost. Husker was ridding with Grif. Guess we'll just have to keep going back till we get it right.

Mad Max was complaining he didn't have a pic for wall paper on his computer screen. My other son Garrett has pic's of his Banshee. So I had Clint pose for a wall paper pic.

Small group picture. Right side is a pic of my 96 Bronco (Mule). Who's that in the Mule? Kind of hard to tell but it should be Daniel Faulkner (Ultrmagdan) and his friend Robert McArnerney from the FTE board.

Thomasm_67 getting some.

BigSwede showing everyone how easy it errrr how good he is.

JeepinJeff has this little sections number. He walked it like it was highway on ramp.

As they say no hill for a stepper.

John and Jennifer Horn in a Chevy Blazer buggy. This was there first time up this trail and had a little trouble with the correct line.

After he found the correct line it was no trouble. John was able to run Arp hill and the Rock Garden before we left. I didn't get any pictures as I was tied up winching the Yota buggy out of the Rock Garden. If I get some pic's from John I'll add them. John also winched another buggy out of the Garden.
